All Seasons Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy’s mission is to deliver the highest quality of care to each individual patient. Due to the continued decline in most major insurance companies’ reimbursement rates, In-Network (INN) facilities are forced to see a higher volume of patients to make ends meet, ultimately leading to a “factory setting” model. Therapists are often forced to see multiple patients during a one-hour time slot. As a result, patients are often left either unattended to perform their therapeutic exercises or are monitored by non-licensed staff. In-network facilities are governed by insurance company’s regulations. Insurance companies ultimately decide when you, the individual, is “healed” by determining how many visits an individual is allowed to receive and whether future visits during a particular plan of care will be authorized. Often, this leads to rushed treatment plans, unfavorable rehabilitation outcomes and all-around frustration.
As an Out-of-Network (OON) clinic, All Seasons Orthopedics and Sports Physical Therapy has more control over how we can administer treatment and place more focus on our patients’ individual needs. The generally higher insurance reimbursements enable us to see a lower number of patients and create a one-on-one treatment model that is proven to lead to more favorable rehabilitative outcomes.
